Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit and learn more about me and why I am running for Oshawa City Council – Ward 4.

​

I am a small business owner, downtown advocate, and lifelong contributor to Oshawa's hospitality and business community.

​

Every day I live and breathe Downtown Oshawa. Whether that's welcoming you and your family to my restaurant, Avanti Trattoria, or working in my role as a board member with the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce to bring you events such as the Convergence Music and Art Festival or the Oshawa Student Orientation Event, I am constantly working to make our Downtown a destination for everyone.

I am running in this election because I am frustrated. I am frustrated that we are not meeting our full potential as a City. I am frustrated that our Downtown is not the destination it should be. I am frustrated that taxes continue to go up, but things stay the same. And I am incredibly frustrated that the City of Oshawa has been unable to get the Region, the Province, and the Federal Government to step up and address our growing concerns around mental health, addiction, and housing.

Throughout this campaign, I will be sharing my vision for a reimagined Downtown economic development strategy. I'll also be working to right the ship at City Hall — pushing other levels of government for real results — and making sure your financial interests are front and centre in every decision that's made.
